MG-Atlantic sells containers by the lot to dealers, resellers, storage and leasing operators, and project buyers. One quote covers the full quantity, the grade of every unit is confirmed in writing, and the units are released from the depot together.

From request to release
- Send the lot, Quantity, type, grade and the location where you want to collect or receive the units.
- Written quote, One quote on the full quantity: unit price, depot, grade of each line and release terms.
- Confirmation and invoice, Once confirmed, the invoice is issued by MG-Atlantic SA, Geneva.
- Release, A release reference is issued for your haulier and the units are collected from the depot together.
- Gate-out record, The depot records the condition of each unit at gate-out on the equipment interchange receipt.
What a lot quote states
A lot quote is only useful if it can be checked line by line. Ours states:
- Type and grade of every line: one-trip, cargo-worthy or wind-and-watertight.
- The depot and city where the units are released.
- The quantity, and whether the lot may be split across depots.
- Release validity and the free days at the depot before storage applies.
- What is included and what is not, such as delivery or storage beyond free days.
One lot, several lines
A lot can combine types and grades: new one-trip units for customers who want them, cargo-worthy units for storage and resale. Each line carries its own grade and price.
Photos of the units allocated to your order can be requested before release. The grade on the quote is the grade you receive, and the gate-out record documents it.
Released from the depot where the equipment sits
Lots are released from depots in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Buying where the surplus sits and paying for the haul is often cheaper than buying where the demand is.

Buying in volume, answered
- Is there a minimum quantity for a wholesale order?
- There is no fixed threshold. Send the quantity you need and the quote is built on that full quantity, with one price per line.
- Can one lot mix container types and grades?
- Yes. A lot can combine types and grades, such as one-trip and cargo-worthy units. Each line on the quote states its own type, grade and price.
- Can I see the containers before they are released?
- Photos of the units allocated to your order can be requested before release. The grade is confirmed in writing on the quote, and the depot records the condition of each unit at gate-out.
- Who issues the invoice?
- MG-Atlantic SA, Geneva, issues the invoice for every lot, whatever the depot or country the units are released from.
- Can the containers be delivered?
- Many lot buyers collect with their own hauliers. Where delivery is needed, it is quoted separately from the containers, by distance and site access.
